OUR PHILOSOPHY

A child's work is PLAY! In play, children are learning how to learn. They are exploring and experimenting as they build relationships with their world and themselves. We encourage the six C's:
    • Competence
    • Confidence
    • Cooperation
    • Coordination
    • Consideration
    • Compassion.
Our goal is to create a stimulating environment to promote the physical, social, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual development of each child. Discovery centers are the core of our curriculum.

Enrollment is open to all children of the community and we welcome all faiths and nationalities. We do not try to indoctrinate any child, but our program does have a Christian emphasis.

ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS for PRESCHOOL

Age 2 years 9 months by September 1, and must be potty trained. (No Pull-ups) A Physician Statement, Authorization to Treat a Minor, Admission Agreement, Identification and Emergency Contact, Family and Social History and Application must be on file BEFORE THE CHILD CAN ENTER SCHOOL. You will receive these papers at registration. An annual registration fee of $100.00 ($90 for sibling) is due at enrollment. A child must be 2 yrs 9 mo. by June 1 for Summer School.

OUR STAFF

Our staff are professionals, carefully selected for their educational background, preschool training, teaching experience, and for their sensitivity to the individual needs of the young child.

New TODDLER PROGRAM
"You 'n' Me" for 18 months to 32 months old. Parent and child play and learn together.
(Adult accompanies the child)

Mondays, Tuesdays or Fridays from 9:15 - 11:45 a.m.
Cost: $40 Registration fee and $60 per month for 9-month program

SCHOOL HOURS AND TUITION* (2010-2011)

Morning Sessions: 9:00 a.m. - 12 Noon (3 hrs.)
(1) M-W-F classes: $235 per month
(2) T-TH classes: $170 per month

Afternoon Sessions: 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. (3 hrs.)
       (1) M-W classes: $170 per month
       (2) T-TH classes: $170 per month
       (3) T-W-TH classes: $195 per month
       No Friday PM Class

SUMMER SCHOOL: June 28-August 6
9 a.m. to Noon
M-W-F class: $395 for 6 weeks
T - TH class: $275 for 6 weeks
PM Classes for Current Kindergarteners

SCHOOL YEAR

The school year is mid-September to mid-June. (Summer School is also available.) We celebrate the Brea public school holidays. We set our own staff preparation days. A master calendar is distributed each year at orientation.
